Introduction

“The King’s capital” is an impeccable blend of Hindu, British and of course Mughal Architecture which tenderly embraces some of the oldest and most authentic eateries relishing our taste buds since time immemorial and therefore has earned it the reputation of being “The capital of gastronomic epiphany”.

This immersion takes you to the pinnacle of Delhi’s food culture to experience the true slice of the original Delhi cuisine with some of the most tantalizing delicacies, each with its own pedigree including Kulfi, Chicken Biryani, Seekh Kebab with Rumali Roti, Shahi Tukda with Homemade Ice-cream, Chicken Fry, Al Jawahar/Karim’s, Haleem, and Paan (Jama Masjid). It is a great way to get a taste for local ingredients and artisan products as well as to learn about the history and culture of the place. We finally end the tour at Jama Masjid here you can enjoy the rikshaw ride till Chawri Bazar Metro or Chandni Chowk Metro.

Abdullah has hosted numerous food festivals and culinary tours and is well versed with the epicurean paradise of sorts which holds cuisines for just above every palate. He has also curated numerous education and outreach programs for children at various heritage sites around Delhi.
